At the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk, Belgium, I graduated cum laude in Ceramics Higher Degree in 2008. To continue developing myself, I followed several courses and workshops, including extreme Raku firing and working with (paper) porcelain and ceramic transfers. I am affiliated with the Dutch Association of Ceramists (NVK). In addition to my own work, I also make commissioned work, for example the bronze sculpture "Op handen gedragen" commissioned by the municipality of Reusel-De Mierden (2013) and sculptures / memorials for various occasions and anniversaries.
 
From 2008 to 2017 I worked as a teacher of Ceramics at Creativity Center De Werckwinckel in Hilvarenbeek. From 2015 I give my lessons in Ceramics Atelier HalfOm, a perfect workplace with space for giving courses and workshops. I love to see people enjoy working with clay.
